These terms apply to the TrainingWheels website, your customer account and the TrainingWheels software for NinjaTrader 8 (together, the "service"). By creating an account, buying a plan, or installing or using the software, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not install or use the service.
1. The service
TrainingWheels provides trading software for futures traders using NinjaTrader 8, including Canfield Candles, Apex Account Safety and, on some plans, automated strategies. The features included in each plan are listed on our pricing page. You need your own NinjaTrader installation, broker and data feed to use the software.
2. Your account
You need an account to buy a plan and manage your licence. Keep your email address up to date and your sign-in details private. You are responsible for activity on your account.
3. Licence
While your subscription is active, we grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the software for your own trading. Each licence is for one user. Your licence key is tied to your account and is activated on the devices you use.
The number of device activations included with your plan is shown in your account.
4. What you may not do
- Reverse engineer, decompile or attempt to extract the source code of the software.
- Redistribute, resell, rent or sublicense the software or your licence.
- Share your licence key or account with anyone else.
- Remove or alter any attribution or proprietary notices.
5. Subscriptions and payment
Plans are sold as subscriptions. Prices are shown on the pricing page and at checkout. Payments are handled by our payment processor; we never see or store your full card details.
Billing dates, renewal and refund terms are shown at checkout. You can cancel at any time through the billing portal in your account.
6. Trading risk and no advice
Trading futures involves substantial risk of loss. We do not provide investment advice, and nothing the software shows is a recommendation to trade. You are solely responsible for your trading decisions and for making sure your use of the software complies with your broker and prop-firm agreements. Please read our full Risk Disclaimer, which forms part of these terms.
7. Third-party platforms
The software runs inside NinjaTrader 8 and depends on your broker, your market-data feed, your internet connection and the rules of your prop firm. These are outside our control. We are not responsible for their availability, their faults or changes they make.
8. Availability and support
The service is provided "as is". Support channels and response targets for each plan are set out in our Support Terms.
9. No warranty
To the extent permitted by law, the software and service are provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We do not promise that the software will be error-free, run without interruption, prevent losses or keep your account within any prop-firm rule. You use it at your own risk.
10. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the software or service. This includes trading losses, lost profits, and the loss or failure of a funded or evaluation account.
11. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or revoke a licence for abuse of the service, breach of these terms, or a payment chargeback. You may cancel your subscription at any time through the billing portal. When your subscription ends, your licence to use the software ends too.
12. Intellectual property
The software, website and documentation belong to TrainingWheels. TrainingWheels™, Canfield Candles™ and Apex Account Safety™ are our trademarks. You may not use our branding in derivative products without written permission.
NinjaTrader, Apex and other third-party names belong to their respective owners.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The date at the top of this page shows when they were last changed.
